By logging in to the TALK-A-ROO Teacher Portal, you agree to the following terms, put in place to protect the personal data of kindergarten students under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and to comply with the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (RA 10175).
1. Acceptable Use
- Use this portal only to monitor the progress of students officially assigned to your own class or section.
- Do not attempt to view, search, or access records of students who are not under your supervision.
- Use the data shown here strictly for legitimate teaching and academic-monitoring purposes — never for personal, commercial, or unrelated purposes.
2. Data Privacy (RA 10173)
- Student names, nicknames, and pronunciation-practice results are personal data collected with parent/guardian consent through the school's enrollment process, and must be handled with the same confidentiality as any student record.
- Do not copy, screenshot, export, print, or share any student data outside this portal, except as required for official reporting to school administration or parents.
- Do not disclose student data to any third party — including on social media or messaging apps — or store it on personal devices not authorized by the school.
- These students are minors, so treat every name, score, and recording as sensitive information at all times.
3. Account Security & Cybercrime Prevention (RA 10175)
- Keep your login credentials strictly confidential — never share your password with students, parents, or other staff.
- Logging in using another teacher's or admin's account, or letting someone else use yours, may constitute unauthorized access under RA 10175 and is strictly prohibited.
- Report any suspected unauthorized access, lost device, or compromised password to your school administrator immediately.
4. Consequences of Violation
Violating these terms may result in suspension or termination of your portal access, referral to school administration for disciplinary action, and — where applicable — liability under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
